Jack McMahon

Research Assistant

Jack is an undergraduate at Dartmouth studying biomedical engineering and computer science. He is currently working on a project that uses deep learning algorithms for digital gram stain pathology. He has experience building model training infrastructure and designing preprocessing software for medical image analysis. He has also held deep learning internships at Clairways, where he worked on TinyML for biomedical devices, and at Synopsys, where he will work on neural net optimization algorithms this upcoming summer. His other involvements at Dartmouth include rock climbing, spending time in the ceramics studio, and as a Vice President of Dartmouth Humanitarian Engineering, where he works on a project for solar water heating systems in Uganda.
