Ankoor  Talwar

Dr. Ankoor Talwar is currently serving as a Resident Physician in Plastic Surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and is affiliated with the Hassanpour Lab, Biomedical Data Science, at Dartmouth College. Prior to this, he completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his M.D. from Albany Medical College, his M.B.A. from Clarkson University's Reh School of Business and his B.S. in Chemistry and Economics from Union College. Dr. Talwar's research focuses on leveraging the potential of artificial intelligence techniques, specifically multimodal deep learning and machine learning models, to advance surgical practice and clinical decision-making. His current collaborations with the Hassanpour Lab include developing AI-powered tools for preoperative implant prediction in breast reconstruction and predictive modeling in chronic wounds. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications.
